The 3 Caliber Law
and it’s Meaning ———————————-
(2) to Co-Sign for (1) weapons purchaser = 3
Caliber - Also means the quality of ones character. Judged by each Co-signer.
Law - if the bill became law.
_____________________________________________________________
a. The 3 Caliber Law is being designed in hopes to reduce gun violence. It is designed to make the purchase of over the counter weapons and ammo more difficult to acquire and mainly to reassure the integrity of the buyer.
b. It is also designed to help detour the wrong individuals and those at a potential risk to society from purchasing guns and ammo for the wrong reasons.
c. This bill/aimed to be law, will make a strong awareness and statement to those 3 who will sign a legal document with the full understanding that they themselves may also be liable for the purchasers actions.
d. Without the 3 together to transact, a purchase of a gun and possibly ammo under federal law would not be possible for certain age margins. Most shooters in mass casualty cases, ages average between 16-17 years old but purchasing a firearm for that age is illegal. In most non school mass casualty case shootings the age margin is 35-40.
e. Why three signers? The first is the purchaser to acquire the weapon or ammunition depending on ammunition caliber. The other 2 are the co-signers understanding their obligation of what they have signed. This will also make the purchaser realize that he/she has 2 others looking over the purchasers shoulder making all 3 responsible entities.
f. It would be too easy for a purchaser, whether having good or bad intentions, to bring in one friend to sign for his purchase basically acting as a favor vs. finding a second party, which would be more difficult to find and convince knowing that he also must obligate himself or herself to sign a reference document knowing the liability and the possible repercussions on themselves. A first co-signer could be a family member but the second cosigner must be unrelated to the buyers family and have known the weapons purchaser for a reasonable length of time.
WHAT DOESN’T SEEM TO WORK AND IS NOT WORKING.
————————————————————————————
Banning law on assualt weapons? Unless they cease to be manufactured they will always show up in stores or on the black market.
Policies are not followed or strictly enforced. If a criminal wants access to a weapon of choice, he’ll find one from multiple sources regardless of where it comes from legally or not.
A culture change recommending safe gun storage can work if the owners will follow through and store their weapon accordingly. Gun storage is only a suggestion request followed by multiple excuses as to not storing the weapon. 40% of gun owners actually intend to store their weapons but don’t. Usually from neglect, reponse time to access and accessibility is not always quick protection.
The ERPO Law-Extreme Risk Protection Order, is mostly unenforcable. This law known as the “Red Flag” law is difficult to enforce. The individual you’re trying to be protected from, you being the target, they can return and find you, law or not.
The Brady law claims their classes have stopped many mass shootings in schools etc. Statistics show they do educate awareness and ones repercussions to gun violence but basically it hasn’t really stopped any violence to a large degree.
No CCP (Concealed Carry Permits) are no longer required. Why would you do this?
Background checks are not being followed through. Only 40% of firearms purchasers get a background check.
Low age gun purchases for rifles and shotguns should be raised from 18 years old to 25. Psychologically the brain matures by the age 25. But actual brain maturity for rational decision and responsibility peaks out at about 40 years old.
———————————————————————————————————
A political statement recently made from a branch of our government. Seems like all talk but never any tangible action.
All 50 states can rely on a backbone of federal laws to help keep guns out of the wrong hands. Yet the federal system is far too weak overall….for example, failing to acquire background checks on ALL gun sales and giving special legal immunity to the gun industry. And why is this? State policy makers should protect their residents by filling the many gaps in federal law, and must also take action where the power is at it’s strongest. Such as requiring a process for domestic abusers to turn in their guns when they become prohibited from having them! (THAT DOESN’T WORK AND WON’T HAPPEN!!!). The Law has NO idea how many guns a domestic abuser may have unregistered in his possession yet will still carry one.
Only those registered after purchasing, if not gifted or stolen might reluctantly get turned in. This law and it’s process is worthless! Why?, because the abusers lie. Excuses are they lost the gun or it was stolen, it fell overboard while I was fishing, I sold it to a stranger years ago or I parted it out and no longer have it etc. But most still have a gun in their possession somewhere. Not much can be done in these situations. It’s just an awareness.
Funding gun control campaigns for what? More meetings and more talk. Money will not stop the violence. It may make the public more aware of the firearms situation but the public is already well aware of the situation. So your funding seems wasted on media, print, banners and refreshments for gun violence meetings where 5-8 people show up from the neighborhood. It seems the impact of education does not hit the right people.
Community violence programs-nobody attends except those that have been violated. People do not attend gun control meetings in their neighborhoods because they think these incidents will not happen to them. The ones that attend usually have had some trauma in their family such as a home invasion or have lost a loved one over some form of gun violence or related circumstance. For others, it hasn’t happened to them (yet) so they basically have a lower concern.
These Local Executive Action Programs-no action there. It’s a backburner agenda for them. Walking through your community giving talks on gun control on the streets is a worthless move. The wrong people are not out to listen to your issues. The only public comments we hear is “You know it’s got to stop and something needs to be done about this!” I’ve got an idea, let’s hold another meeting.
Notes:
A. The USA has the highest gun violence in the world.
B. Gun Violence costs the American public $557, Billion yearly.
C. An average of 16.7 million guns are sold in the USA a year.

Benefits of this bill. Gun/Firearm purchases should decrease simply due to the process of what the gun purchaser must go through having to get 2 co-signers to agree and sign.
The difficulty of getting 2 co-signers to obligate themselves to share the purchasers liability and responsibility of the purchase, this type of transaction would SLOW the buying process way down. Co-signers of course will have no ownership to the buyers purchases of guns or ammo. One name on the purchase and 2 more guarantees as references of the buyer.
No background checks would be required for the 2 co-signers since they will know that they are putting themselves on the line, vouching that the firearms purchaser is a responsible US citizen knowing their consequences. These signatures will reflect back to them liability wise should something illegal occurs.
This bill or law would also decrease gun and ammo sales orders from the manufactures of these weapons since purchasing will become a bit more strict than usual. The gun dealers may not approve of this due to the slowing of their in store firearm sales. I suggest a slight increase in their prices to compensate the loss of any 3CL buyers.
Gifting guns as presents will become difficult due to the processes previously mentioned. The purchaser gifting the gun and the one being gifted will both face background checks regardless of age. 2 co-signers abiding by “THE 3 CALIBER LAW” will still apply in order for the sale to complete. Gifting would then take a total of 4 individual’s signatures. In this case making the gun store or establishment being the 5th signer.
A decrease of guns and violence on the streets should be noticeable due to the acquiring process through gun stores. But if a criminal wants a gun, again, they will find one outside the store. At present the 3CL law obviously has no control over. The 3 CL law may also put a damper on gun shows and those dealers who sell weapons at these shows with no customer background checks or are not actually dealers could also be accountable.
These same regulations and stipulations from 3CL may apply to large caliber ammunition purchases. Maybe not as strict for smaller caliber ammo. NOTE: (Police and government officials would be exempt from (The 3CL law).
This 3 Caliber Law bill I’m presenting could be a win-win situation for all. The buyer can still purchase a firearm and the dealer can still make a sale. No toes would be stepped on regarding the Second Amendment, NRA or ILA. The only real thing lost here is a possible “bad” buyer by keeping his or her purchase out of the wrong hands and maybe more lives will be saved that otherwise may not have been.
FREEDOM REQUIRES PEOPLE TO BE ARMED….
BUT DISCIPLINED!
MY CLOSING STATEMENT
As a closing comment. If you do not like this bill or are afraid that your personal purchase rights or group policies to support firearms are offended, or made a little more difficult, please understand the following. If you have a better idea than this, let’s hear it! Just remember talk is cheap. Also remember the many children and adults that have been murdered and wounded from school shootings and other multiple public locations. Then think of those that potentally could have been murdered and were not. Hopefully it won’t happen again but we all know the answer to that. By the time you read this..it has happened again. But it can be avoided to some strong degree by altering the firearms buying process starting with our inspection and the quality of the buyer themselves.
The Coroner stated concerning the autopsy report from Uvalde, Texas.
“Some of the 19 children killed in Robb Elementary School were unrecognizable and could
only be identified by their
DNA”.
HOW THE KILLERS ACQUIRED THEIR GUNS
Columbine High School Colorado: No laws were in force to stop purchases at that time. Guns were acquired at a gun show with an illegal vendor and another private sale through a pizza restaurant. 15 dead.
Sandy Hook School Conneticut: The mother bought her son an assault rifle for his birthday. 20 children, 6 teachers dead.
Uvalde,Texas: Robb Elementary School: Legal purchase by the shooter from a gun store. He had multiple rifles but only used one. 19 children and 2 adults dead.
High School in Parkland Florida: 4 guns legally purchased from a gun store. 17 children dead.
Blacksburg, Virginia: Virginia Tech College. Gun was legally purchased with ammo. No background check. 33 college students dead.
Red Lake School in Minnesota: Shooter took grandfathers gun and a shotgun. Killed him and two family members. Then went to his school killing 7 students.
Roseburg, Oregon High School: They have had two shootings over the years. Shooter purchased 8 firearms legally. 10 children dead.
Suterland Springs, Texas: Ex-military man bought 4 guns legally from 2 dealerships. Entered a local church killing members in the sanctuary. Some were complete families, children and teens. 26 dead.
Shootings are increasing in the U.S. But many are taking to the streets, shopping malls, concert halls and anywhere there may be a large gathering. With heavier security and programs such as THE 3 CALIBER LAW, we hope to see a decrease of incidents through criminal activity and a start in the right direction.
